Rwanda Gorilla Trekking - 7 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport, a representative of AAB Tours and Travel will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Nest lodge or hotel Chez Lando or Kinigi guest house. (BB)

DAY 02: Mountain Gorillas Trekking
This is the day of gorilla trekking in the Parc Des Volcanoes, the home of Rwanda Gorillas. Depending on the level of fitness, you may be allowed to choose the group of gorillas you wish to visit. The closest being about 2 hours or even a couple of minutes from the park boundary. Meals and overnight at the Mountain Gorillas' Nest Lodge or hotel Chez Lando or Kinigi guest house. (FB)

DAY 03: Tour to Dian Fossey
Have an early morning hike to the Famous Dian Fossey Research centre and Grave Yard. Where Dr. Fossey, a renowned primatologist spent close to two decades habituating, studying and conserving the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Overnight at the Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge in Kinigi or Hotel Chez Lando or Kinigi guest house. (FB)

DAY 04: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest.
Morning breakfast then transfer to the Nyungwe Forest. This Forest contains a variety of habitats including montane forest, bamboo, grasslands, swamps and bogs, and is very mountainous too. It provides some of the best Golden Monkey trekking experiences in East Africa. Meals and Overnight at Gisakura Guest House. (FB)

DAY 05: Chimpanzee trekking
After breakfast, start the morning Chimpanzee trekking expedition in the forest in search of colonies of habituated Golden Monkeys. Other wildlife in the forest include: grey-cheeked mangabeys, blue monkeys, Angolan colobus, L'hoest's monkeys and owl-faced monkeys. Meals and overnight at Gisakura Guest House.

DAY 06: Genocide Memorial Visit
Visit the Genocide Memorial where remains of thousands of Tutsis and moderate Hutus are preserved. Meals and overnight at the Hotel Des Millecollines.

DAY 07: Fly out of Rwanda
Transfer to the airport for your next flight.
